My thoughts on the recent 2020 Presidential Election and where do we go from here. I am not happy with the results of this election, but I can understand the President Trump is going be a one term president. President Trump never fully grasp that you can't run a country like a business, You can't bully people into submission. The the most important thing is Trump never denounce racism everytime the question is brought up. Racism should never be deflected in hopes that people with hate in their hearts will vote for you and that in my opinion is the main reason he lost this election. It's still not official as of this posting. The other side isn't no angel either by slamming miss information and pinning things on Trump. However, my late mother always told me that two wrongs don't make a right.

Here's my message to the Left. Just because you won this election doesn't give you a mandate to steamroll you policies onto the American Public. It doesn't give you the right to mess with the Constitution and as a matter of fact the filibuster and the majority of 60 to approve a Supreme Court Justice needs to be put back in place. Democrats and Republicans need to work together and mostly they need to be able to compromise. Both of them need to stop playing political games at the expense of the American public and wasting the taxpayer's money on conspiracy theories. The American People are not stupid and they have the right to know what is going on.

Thoughts Before the Electionby Strider on November 2, 2020

I decided to try to cub my anxiety by writing my thoughts on the upcoming election. Would things had been different if the Democrats try to throw Trump out of office? Would it had made a difference if Trump was a little more Presidential and show some empathy every once in awhile? I could play the what if game all day long and probably even longer. The simple fact is Trump is running the country like it's one of his businesses and while that might be good times are good. It isn't good when times get rough, plus Trump games the system. How else do you explain him filing for bankruptcy 4 or 5 times?

I do care who wins and I am concerned in what happens to this country. I just pray that it's a peaceful election, but along with everyone else I don't think it's going to be peaceful though I hope I am wrong, wrong, wrong. I will not say I'm moving out of the country if this person wins as I am an American first. I think of it as a marriage meaning that I will stick with it through the good times and the bad times. One last comment I will make. No matter who wins let us put our differences aside and work together. We will have to sacrifice and make compromises and some compromises will take time because they are hard, but they need to be done eventually.

The election on November 3rd has me concerned as I'm afraid that the people are going to elect a President that supports socialism and censorship. It will be the Death of the United States as we know it. Instead of debating the issues and how to make this country better, the politicians in Washington D.C. are dividing us. The last straw is when Twitter, Facebook and now Amazon think censorship is the answer to get the election to go their way. The politicians are on the Left are promising FREE everything and promising their taxes won't go up when in reality they know it is a big fat LIE! The logical side of me says if this country goes socialist to move to another country, but my heart says to stay in this country as it's the only country that I know. Though I will never close the door or never say never, but I know deep down that I will never move to another country. This is going to be my only political post as this website is about Photography and Website Development.
